The Haas Venture Fellows is a select group of Berkeley MBA students at the Haas School of Business who do real world projects to strengthen ties between Bay Area entrepreneurs, the Silicon Valley venture capital industry, and the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship at Haas.
The group aims to provide hands-on experience to students and prepare them for a future in Venture Capital. It also maintains a network of UC Berkeley alumni working in the venture capital industry and contacts to entrepreneurship initiatives across UC Berkeley.

- Learn from seasoned venture capitalists by doing project work - The Haas Venture Fellows have completed projects with a growing number of firms that includes Sequoia Capital, Morgenthaler Ventures, August Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Trinity Ventures.
- Run the UC Berkeley Pitch Lab and UC Berkeley Startup Accelerator@Skydeck - HVF Pitch Lab is a forum for entrepreneurs from the greater UC Berkeley community to practice their pitches and receive constructive feedback in a neutral environment. Startup Accelerator@Skydeck is a premier technology incubator.
- Connect UC Berkeley with the VC community - The Haas Venture Fellows is a program sponsored by the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UC Berkeley, and we serve as the liaison between Haas and numerous venture capital firms
- Serve as the nucleus for VC alumni outreach – The Haas Venture Fellows helps maintains and deepen the relationship with out alums in venture capital. We are supported by our alumni, who also serve as advisors.
